Educating Healing Employing
Every child that passes through our schools and Restart Centre has a story. Here are just a few that will help show what motivates us to help all we can. Click on each child's photo to read their story,
Paul Karuga
After struggling on the streets for 6 years, and desperate for help, Paul brought himself to us when he was just 10 years old.
Migelle Muthama
Migelle was dropped off at the Restart Centre when he was just 3 years old following very difficult beginnings with his family.
Harrison and Peter Kamau
These two brothers were found alone, frightened, and with no home when they were just 10 and 11 yearls old.
Elisha Maina
After being abandoned as a baby and then abused by foster parents, Elisha found us and has begun a new life among new friends.
In civilised western nations incidences involving child deprivation or abuse are rightly the source of public outrage. It is perhaps hard to conceive of places where such circumstances are the reality of daily life. So the children who arrive in our schools all have a story to tell but all have the spirit to accept help, enjoy the company of others and to learn to look forward. It is immensely satisfying for all who work or contribute to the running of our schools to see the potential of each child realised.
Enjoy some of their incredible talents!
